PEER REVIEW We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the independent quality review of our accounting and auditing practice. After a thorough study of our procedures and work practices, the reviewers concluded that our firm complies with the stringent quality control standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The review was conducted by a team of CPAs appointed by the California Society of CPAs. Using guidelines established by the AICPA, the reviewers determined that Forman, Richter & Rubin has an effective quality control system and that our accounting and auditing work conforms to professional standards. Our continued participation in periodic quality reviews (this was our sixth) and our voluntary membership in the AICPA and California Society of CPAs support Forman, Richter & Rubin's commitment to quality and our high standards for client service. The peer review was conducted in accordance with standards established by the Peer review Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The firm is responsible for designing a system of quality control and complying with it to provide the firm with reasonable assurance of conforming with professional standards in all material respects. My responsibility is to express an opinion on the design of the system of quality control, and the firm’s compliance therewith based on my review. The nature, objectives, scope, limitations of, and the procedures performed in a System Review are described in the standards at www.aicpa.org/prsummary. As required by the standards engagements selected for review included engagements performed under Government Auditing Standards and audits of Employee Benefit Plans.
